Are you angry yet ? Deficit tops $1 trillion? -- Part 2 of 'x'

Budget deficit tops $1 trillion for first time. Who's gonna pay for it you clowns?

Check Spelling

This nightmare wears me out!

My grand kids and great-grand kids are gonna have to pay this back.

We need to call the Washington-critters. Enough is enough y'all!

Value Of Dollar Under Pressure

Posted: 2:00 pm EDT July 13, 2009Updated: 6:10 pm EDT July 13, 2009

WASHINGTON -- The federal deficit has topped $1 trillion for the first time ever and could grow to nearly $2 trillion by this fall, intensifying fears about higher interest rates, inflation and the strength of the dollar.

The deficit has been widened by the huge sum the government has spent to ease the recession, combined with a sharp decline in tax revenues. The cost of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan also is a major factor.

The soaring deficit is making Chinese and other foreign buyers of U.S. debt nervous, which could make them reluctant lenders down the road. It could also force the Treasury Department to pay higher interest rates to make U.S. debt attractive longer-term.

"These are mind-boggling numbers," said Sung Won Sohn, an economist at the Smith School of Business at California State University. "Our foreign investors from China and elsewhere are starting to have concerns about not only the value of the dollar but how safe their investments will be in the long run

." The Treasury Department said Monday that the deficit in June totaled $94.3 billion, pushing the total since the budget year started in October to $1.09 trillion. The administration forecasts that the deficit for the entire year will hit $1.84 trillion in October.

Government spending is on the rise to address the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and an unemployment rate that has climbed to 9.5 percent.

Congress already approved a $700 billion financial bailout for banks, automakers and other sectors, and a $787 billion economic stimulus package to try to jump-start a recovery. Outlays through the first nine months of this budget year total $2.67 trillion, up 20.5 percent from the same period a year ago.

There is growing talk among some Obama administration officials that a second round of stimulus may eventually be necessary.

That has many Republicans and deficit hawks worried that the U.S. could be setting itself up for more financial pain down the road if interest rates and inflation surge. They also are raising alarms about additional spending the administration is proposing, including its plan to reform health care.

Me thinks it's time to raise some serious questions with the Washington crowd:

1- Do you know what you are doing? It doesn't look like it on main street, or any other street!

2- Where's the results you promised several times ago - months ago now?

3- Why should the American people believe or trust you any further? You have a below average record spanning years and decades!

4- It's time to cut spending, reduce the size of government - y0ur staffs, expenses, travel and perks -- until you improve your performance. We don't like paying for failure and poor judgment.

5- It's time to keep your word - the measure and value of an elected Representative!

The founding fathers, the fifty-six, who wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence said: "we pledge our lives, our fortunes and our honor....." There's your roll model to follow! Our military men and women do it everyday too! Those in elected office today should do no less!

Are you angry yet ? -- Part 1 of 'x'

Are you angry yet ?

Well, we wanted to go "mess" in their yard, but grand-pops stopped us.
He said, 'kids it might be fun, but remember you were raised better than those dumb axxes in Washington. They are just politicans, and don't know too much or any better. And got no pride either or respect for others nor our milittary families"!

Here's a perfect example of what's happening with this administration - just click on the link below -- this report just came out! And, please pass along to everyone! Yes, 'copy & paste' if you wish!

HERE:

To one and all, including the POTUS, the CIC, the Congress, the Supreme Court, all three branches of government, the Pentagon and every American:

It's the Soldier, not the reporter
who has given us
the freedom of the press!

It's the Soldier, not the poet,
who has given us
the freedom of speech!

Align Center
It's the Soldier, not the politicians,
that ensures our right to
Life, Liberty and the pursuit
of happiness!

It's the Soldier who salutes the flag,
who serves beneath the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag!

(from FINAL CALL compiled by William Ryan)

Salute and honor them,

or exercise a freedom they have fought,

shed their blood and died for,

for over 233 years now:

your freedom and liberty

to leave and live somewhere else on planet earth,

if you are not happy and content

living in America, the U.S.A.,

"the land of the free, and home of the brave"!

And forget not these words,

and the price that has been paid.

Here is one who made the Final Call for America, and you and me:

In memory of Staff Sergeant John C. Beale

God bless him, his family, all those before them,

and all who follow in their footsteps!

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE,

please refrain from abusing it,

or disrespecting those who bore the price!

That is the duty of a grateful nation,

and all of it's people!

Cap and Trade legislation

Just read something about the Cap and Trade legislation that lays out the specifics of the cost to taxpayers.
This comes directly from the written legislation, it is NOT conjecture. You need to read this, you really, really do.
link

Here is just a small part of what it says:

To compensate for higher energy prices brought about by the “cap-and-trade” system that the energy bill creates, the bill lays out an Energy Refund Program that will offer cash compensation for low-income households to mitigate their losses.
While virtually everyone’s energy bills will rise, the Energy Refund Program is essentially a welfare program that will only help households treading near the poverty line.

According to Section 431 of the Act, “The Secretary (of Health and Human Services) shall formulate and administer the program provided for in this section, which shall be known as the ‘Energy Refund Program’, and under which eligible low-income households are provided cash payments to reimburse the households for the estimated loss in their purchasing power resulting from the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.

”Fifteen pages of the 1,201-page bill are dedicated to laying down complex formulas for who will receive this energy welfare, what they will receive and how they will qualify to receive it.

Section 431 specifies that households earning 150 per cent of the federal poverty level or receiving other forms of welfare such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance -- formerly known as food stamps --Supplemental Security Income or Medicare are eligible for “energy refunds.

”For households that are not already on government welfare, a two-person household would have to earn $21,855 or less to meet the income threshold, while the income of a three-person household could not exceed $27,465, according to the 2009 federal poverty guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Hey folks, I think we are about to be in deep, deep trouble. We will ALL be in poverty by the time the fools in Congress get through with us!

This nonsense most stop NOW!

Slim Down, Tone Up: Quick Tips That Really Work

These tricks from celebrity trainers work the parts that really matter at the gym or anywhere.

SEXY BACK
Fat-Burning Tip! "Exercising for 30 minutes in the morning and evening can have more impact than one hour-long session," says physical medicine specialist Ian K. Smith, author of The 4 Day Diet.

SCULPTED ARMS
Fat-Burning Tip! Get seven to eight hours of sleep every night. Studies say that women who stick to that range are less likely to gain weight.

WHITTLED WAIST
Fat-Burning Tip! Include bursts of high-intensity cardio, says Hoebel, such as treadmill sprints at 7 to 9 mph on an incline of 2 for 30 seconds, then a brisk walk for 90 seconds.

SHAPELY BOTTOM
Fat-Burning Tip! Work your thighs when you exercise. "They contain the biggest muscles in the body. The more muscle mass you work, the more calories you'll burn at rest," says Fred DeVito, co-founder of Core Fusion at Exhale Spa in N.Y.C.

WIMBLEDON, England -- Rhythmic clapping rang out on Centre Court, accompanied by not-so-staid chants of "Roof! Roof! Roof!"
Yes, indoor tennis has arrived at Wimbledon, more than a century after the tournament's debut.
The new retractable roof over Centre Court was closed for the first time Monday after a light sprinkle halted play during the second set of a match between No. 1-ranked Dinara Safina and 2006 Wimbledon champion Amelie Mauresmo.

You Might Be a Redneck...a different take

You Might Be a Redneck...a different take !

We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years.

It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home, family, country and God.

If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel gunsand grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends. Ya'll know who ya'll are.

You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, 'One nation, under God.'

You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if: You still say ' Christmas' instead of 'Winter Festival.'

You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.

You might be a redneck if: You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag, nor intend to.

You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

If you agree, it is because I believe that you, like me, have just enough Red Neck in you to have the same beliefs as those talked about in this above.

God Bless the USA! Keep the fire burning, redneck friend. IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM.

IN GOD WE TRUST.

Yes, I'm proud to be an American!

And I'm just as proud to be a redneck too .... thank you!

For both truely love my country, it's flag, it's national anthem, our Constitution, our brave men and women in our military, and our history -- much of which has been removed from the history books used in our government-public schools by the liberals and left-wingers.

God bless America, the USA.

Top ten worst foods of 2009
by FatFighterTV, on Tue Feb 24, 2009 12:20pm PST

From an astonishing amount of calories to several days' worth of fat in one meal to over the top levels of sodium, this is one place you don’t want to see any of your favorite foods. Every year, the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) comes up with its list of the Top Ten Worst Foods and I always look forward to it. Once in awhile I find out I’ve enjoyed one of the “worsts” (and stop immediately!). But this year, I’m happy to report I have not indulged in anything on CSPI’s list for 2009.
